FAQs about hotels in Niagara Falls

The Power of Nature

Featuring the best views of the awesome waterfall sharing its name, Canada’s Niagara Falls is a small city promising more than just a stunning insight into the power of nature.

By day, view the falls from the riverfront promenade, or for an up-close-and-personal experience, the Hornblower Niagara Cruise takes you right into the swell. Rain ponchos are provided. Alternatively, there’s the Journey Behind the Falls – a walk through the rock behind Niagara. Handy portholes help you experience the thundering water.

Slightly downstream are the American Falls, less well-known and less impressive, but worth a look. At night, both falls get illuminated by colored lights – an incredible sight. Further downstream is the Rainbow Bridge which you can walk across to get an American stamp in your passport. Just check your visa requirements first.

The city itself has 7 golf courses, with one right by the river – be careful with your swing! Other Niagara Falls attractions include casinos, movie theaters and Marineland Canada, featuring the world's largest whale habitat for viewing orcas both above and below ground.

Unless you fly into Niagara Falls Airport on the US side, you’ll probably arrive by car. So check out the hotels, apartments, motels and more on Booking.com with easy parking options.

    Absolutely breathtaking, stunning.

Absolutely breathtaking, stunning. Good and reasonably priced activities down at The Table Rock information centre and helpful staff too! Wego bus lines included with tickets - had a fantastic time. Journey behind the falls. Cable car. White water walk. Restaurants all around casual or smart, the usual dinner places and cafes found in USA and Canada.

    Abosolutely mind blowing.

Abosolutely mind blowing. Mother Nature at her absolute glory. The pure force, energy, elegance, majesty and mesmerizing beauty is amazing. Get on the boat and get close to her power. Get wet and wild it’s worth the trip. At night the light show takes it to another level. Definitely one for the bucket list. Lots of activities for children and adults with pkenty of eating options.everything is within walking distance from the falls. It’s line a mini Vegas at night.

Getting the Adventure Pass package turned out to be a good idea. Three days was enough to see everything. Off-season crowded were not too bad. The Queen Victoria Place Restaurant was the best place we ate at. Also, the Afternoon Tea at the McFarland House was good (make a reservation at least one day ahead). Most places were touristy.

Can be fun, but getting a little kitschy for me now.

Can be fun, but getting a little kitschy for me now. Some of the amusements are a bit over the top, but the falls themselves are definitely worth seeing. You could probably keep busy for 4 or 5 days, but it would be expensive. The casinos are great if You are a gambler. Not Vegas, but OK.

We loved the budget price and, even better, that there were no additional surprise fees at the hotel when we got there. Free parking, a comfortable and clean bed, free good wifi, breakfast included. We found it easy to get to, and quiet enough for a great night's sleep. It was everything we hoped for and we are very happy we booked at the Glengate. The Glengate will definitely be our first choice of a hotel the next time we need one in Niagara Falls. Thank you!

Absolutely nothing at all! Very disappointing hotel and stay. Would of expected the nearest Hilton Hotel to the Niagara Falls would be a flag ship hotel to the Hilton group. How wrong was I! What a disappointment for what was meant to be a special occasion stay.
